As part of the IB Partnership Pathway, Smith works with Garner Magnet High School to offer the full breadth of the IB programmes. At Garner HS, the Middle Years Programme is continued through the Sophomore year, and students may choose to continue with the Diploma Programme in their Junior and Senior years.
The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, normally aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond.
